Government extends funding for prosthetics abroad of ATO participants

The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a decree that provides the possibility to double the monetary assistance to participants of anti-terrorist operation on prosthetics abroad. The decree №590 was adopted by the Government on 12 August.

When changes to a new Order will enter into force the amount of monetary assistance may be increased to the size of 1800 living wages for able-bodied persons or UAH 2192400. Previously, the monetary assistance was limited (900 living wages for able-bodied persons, as of January 1, that is equal to 1096200 USD).

We will remind that the decision to make prosthetics (orthotics) abroad for participants of anti-terrorist operations is taken by the Expert Commission of the Ministry of Social Policy.
