Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk expects subsidies worth UAH 4.5 million will be assigned for Ukrainian families before the heating season commences. "Almost each third Ukrainian citizen will obtain a subsidy," said the Head of Government in 10 minutes program on Sunday, August 16.

"All bureaucratic obstacles have been removed. Ukrainian family receive compensation directly from the state budget to pay their bills for gas, electricity, water and housing and communal services as a whole", explained Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk informed that by September 1 there would be sent application forms, declarations and an explanatory letter from the Government of Ukraine. "There is money in the budget for each family that needs help from the state to compensate for high energy tariffs", appealed Arseniy Yatsenyuk to Ukrainian citizens.
