Arseniy Yatsenyuk will offer the parliamentary coalition a new composition and structure of the Government in September
Upon assessment of activities of the members of
the Cabinet of Ministers, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk will
offer the parliamentary coalition a new composition and structure of the
Government and regional state administrations in September. This was started by
the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in "10 minutes with Prime
Minister" on Sunday, August 9.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk reminded that during collegiums
in Ministries he had heard reports of all Ministries and "it was set clear
objectives for each Ministry in the sector for which it is responsible":
"In September it will be clear what has been accomplished or not ".
"Upon assessment of activities of each
Minister I will propose the parliamentary coalition, the new composition of the
Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and a new effective structure of the Ukrainian
Government and regional state administrations," the PM said.
"It should not be a quantity but a
quality. It should not be an imitation, but responsibility," Arseniy Yatsenyuk
said.
He underlined that now the Government is
working towards an effective, high-quality state service: "in order the
official who provides the service, understands and knows how to ensure the
provision of services from the state to a citizen. To do it he needs knowledge,
experience and a fitting salary."
He stressed that the Cabinet of Ministers of
Ukraine "will continue to draw ahead in the path of deregulation and
decreasing powers", "What is our purpose? The less the Government has
powers, the fewer problems people have, and the easier to live, to develop
business and to work to ensure that
"We also need to make serious changes at
the central level to ensure that these mechanisms operate", Arseniy Yatsenyuk
stressed.
