Arseniy Yatsenyuk: Patrol Police project kicks off in Lutsk next week
On Tuesday, July 28, during his working trip to Volyn Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk together
with Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov and First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Eka Zguladze launched a new
patrol police project in Lutsk.
"We continue
pursuing the reform of the Ukrainian national police," stressed the Prime
Minister.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk informed
that the enrolment to the new police patrol in Lutsk would kick off next week
and end in late August.
According
to him, since November 160 police officers, 20 permanent patrol brigades are
planned to work in the town.
"We invite
everyone to submit documents to join a new Ukrainian police," urged the
Head of Government.
"Our goal is to demonstrate
Lutsk citizens a new quality of communication between the citizens and law
enforcement, the Ukrainian police. 24 hours a day and seven days a week 20 brigades
will patrol the streets to ensure the safety of citizens, to help each person
if he or she needs help, to fight crime – to ensure safety for everyone who
lives in Lutsk", stressed Yatsenyuk.
