Arseniy Yatsenyuk about the ATO participants: When Russian troops attacked, they defended the country. Now it is time to protect them
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk commissioned relevant
structures of the Ministry of Social Policy to pay utmost attention to
rehabilitation, the employment of the ATO participants, their
adaptation to civilian life, social, financial and medical assistance. He announced
this at a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine on
Monday, July 20.
"It concerns each of you," he addressed the audience at the
Board’s meeting. “When Russian troops attacked, they [the soldiers participating
in ATO – ed.] took up arms and stood up for the country. When they returned
from the front, now we are obliged to protect them. It is the sacred duty of
every citizen of the country to respect and help our troops and our soldiers".
He set a demand for the social sector workers: "Constant daily work
with the participants of the anti-terror operations, with the families of the
victims, human care. By the Independence Day to visit each family of those who
died, maximum attention to each Ukrainian soldier. Constant daily work, I reiterate,"
stressed the Head of Government.
Arseniy
Yatsenyuk stressed the importance of work performed by social workers “in hard
times": "Social assistance and social justice afford to survive these
difficult times."
