Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with U.S. Permanent Representative to the UN Samantha Power in Kyiv

Thursday, June 11, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk held a meeting with U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations Samantha Power, who was paying a visit to Kyiv.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk expressed gratitude to Samantha Power for the concerted efforts to support Ukraine in the framework of the worldwide organization.

Ukraine highly appreciates the strong and unequivocal position of the Head of the American delegation within the United Nations to defend Ukraine from Russian aggression, stressed the Head of Ukrainian Government.

During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the situation in Eastern Ukraine, the process of implementation of the Minsk agreement, as well as further steps to strengthen UN action in the search for peace and strengthening of international solidarity around Ukraine.
