Ministry of Social Policy informs the number of families receiving subsidies increased by over 300 thousand

Proper organization of an information campaign to familiarize citizens with the operation of a simplified system of housing subsidies has led to a significant increase in the number of families who have applied for the subsidy.

Minister of Social Policy Pavlo Rozenko informed during a teleconference with the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

"After we launched a powerful advertising campaign on the subsidy system, under the old system guided by old rules there applied by 300 thousand families more than over an analogous period last year”, stressed the Minister.”By 1 April 2014 about 1 million 100 thousand families received subsidies, while this year – more than 1 million 450 thousand."

According to the Minister, an increase of this showing was achieved “just due to the fact that people have been properly informed, respectively the number of people who found out about the program of subsidies has increased considerably".
