It is crucial to urgently launch energy efficiency programs for Ukrainian citizens: “The less they consume, the lower bills they will get,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk stressed during the International Support for Ukraine conference on Tuesday, April 28, in Kyiv.

He accentuated that Ukraine consumes enormous amount of energy: "This is rather a huge burden for the State budget, but what is worse - that is a very heavy burden for the Ukrainians, for their pockets. And we can eliminate this burden through implementation of energy efficiency programs".

"This is the target for the Government and this should be the key for our joint investment," he said.

The Prime Minister appealed to the western partners: "You have perfect investment projects, you have an experience. This is the right time to invest into Ukrainian energy modernization and energy efficiency.
