Pavlo Rozenko: New subsidy system is simple and convenient

At An Hour of Questions to the Government in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko has informed MPs and the society about the core innovations of the introduced since May compensatory mechanism of social protection under conditions of utility tariff increase.

"The only criteria to obtain housing subsidies from now on is the level of family income. There have been cancelled all artificial criteria. An official has no longer the right to deprive the person entitled to the subsidy of it," the Minister stressed.

Pavlo Rozenko informed about a significant reduction of the list of documents that citizens submit for subsidies, about increasing twofold, up to a year, a period during which a targeted governmental assistance will be provided, abolishing unnecessary criteria to calculate incomes of citizens, about an opportunity rendered to the renters to receive subsidy.
