Ministry of Agrarian Policy: Ukraine and Israel demonstrate successful cooperation experience

Ukraine and Israel continue to successfully implement joint projects in the agricultural sector. This was discussed at a meeting of the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Olexii Pavlenko with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Israel in Ukraine Eliav Belotserkovski. During the event the Ukrainian party received an invitation to participate in the International agricultural exhibition Agritech Israel 2015.

Apart from participation in the exhibition Agritech 2015, it is planned to hold bilateral talks with the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel, participation in the Ukrainian-Israeli business seminar, visits to the Volkani Agricultural Research Center and Hof HaSharon Dairy Farm.

"We are especially interested to take part in the exhibition of the Ukrainian agrarian business, to get familiarized with successful examples of Israeli agriculture, which demonstrates high growth tendency and actively uses innovative technology," said Vladyslava Rutytska, Deputy Minister on European integration.

Olexii Pavlenko also noted the successful cooperation between the countries in agricultural area, in particular, in support of small and medium-sized farms. “It is crucial for us to understand how the Ministry of Agrarian Policy can help to entrepreneurs and investors from Israel to engage in work in the agricultural sector of Ukraine. Advice on deregulation, legislation changes, business support,” added the Minister.
