Arseniy Yatsenyuk stressed he is "not very optimistic" about
the chances to restore control over the Ukrainian-Russian border in the near
future.
According to him, the lack of control over the border means "an unlimited
access for the Russian troops, Russian tanks and soldiers to easily cross the
Ukrainian-Russian border and to increase their military capability and their
military durability of the Russian troops that are deployed in eastern
Ukraine".
"The chances of de-escalation of the situation
in this case are extremely low," stressed Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

them to support us in sealing the border". The Prime Minister also
stressed that the Government of Ukraine truly appreciates the UK support, in
particular, in its decision to send to Ukraine military instructors to train
the Ukrainian military. Arseniy Yatsenyuk added
that this decision is "the first step", "We expect to see another
steps of other EU member states and our American friends". |
