Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Cabinet members paid tribute to Taras Shevchenko

On Monday, March 9, on the occasion of the 201^st anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko, Ukraine Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and members of the Government of Ukraine took part in the ceremony of commemorating the Ukrainian poet.

They laid flowers to the monument of Taras Shevchenko near Kyiv National University.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk is to participate in the radio marathon "Shevchenko mobilizes", throughout which the poet’s works will be read by officials, politicians, scientists, cultural workers, the military, volunteers, members of the public.
