Kyiv hosts negotiations of Ukraine-Slovakia governmental delegations
At the
House of the Government began negotiations of the delegations of the Cabinet of
Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Slovak Republic under the
chairmanship of Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico.
At the
beginning of negotiations Arseniy Yatsenyuk
has expressed appreciation to Robert Fico and the Slovak Government for steadfast
and very friendly position towards Ukraine.
He recalled
that his previous meeting with Robert Fico had happened during the launching
ceremony of the pipeline "Vojany-Uzhgorod"
in the town of Velke Kapusany
in Slovakia: "Together we opened a reverse flow that saved Ukraine, which enables
to provide Ukraine with natural gas during this difficult period".
Arseniy Yatsenyuk has also stressed that the negotiations of the
governmental delegations of Ukraine and Slovakia are very important in the
framework of the European integration of Ukraine.
The agenda
of the talks, according to the Head of the Ukrainian Government, includes
trade-economic, energy and cross-border cooperation and European integration as
the main idea of Ukraine, which should determine the country's future and the
future of every Ukrainian.
