Pavlo Klimkin attends extraordinary meeting of European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs

On November 17, in the framework of a visit to the EU institutions, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin attended the extraordinary meeting of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs regarding Ukraine and met with its Chairman Elmar Brok.

The Minister thanked the MEPs for the consistent support of the independence, territorial integrity and the European choice of Ukraine confirmed in all recent resolutions and decisions of the European Parliament on the ratification of the Association Agreement and the extension of the term of the autonomous trade preferences of the EU for Ukraine.

Leading political forces of the EP assured the willingness of the EU to continue further support of Ukraine in overcoming current challenges in a spirit of solidarity and association. They also stressed the importance of providing Ukraine with urgent humanitarian assistance.
