Vasyl Lazoryshynets assures our hospitals have reserves for rehabilitation of wounded in ATO soldiers
The hospitals have reserves
to ensure rehabilitation of the military who were
wounded in the course of anti-terrorist operations. This was informed by acting
Minister of Health Vasyl Lazoryshynets
at a press briefing during the media day for representatives of regional and
national media on November 10, 2014.
According to Vasyl Lazoryshynets, 29 hospitals for veterans of the WWII and belligerents
are under the supervision of the Health Ministry and possess every
sufficient resource.
Funds for these hospitals are allocated on an annual basis. It was, therefore,
decided to conduct rehabilitation
- medical, social,
psychological – without drawing
additional funding," he explained.
By now these institutions have already provided rehabilitation services for 228 persons.
“Already 228 persons have
received necessary rehabilitation assistance – which is not much. We have
reserves to ensure rehabilitation. No need to increase expenses for medicines
and nutrition in the mentioned hospitals as the funds were planned in the
budget,” Vasyl Lazoryshynets
informed.
