Arseniy Yatsenyuk noted the importance of the working visit of the
acting Health Minister Vasyl Lazoryshynets
to the zone of the anti-terrorist operation last week, noting that the
previous leadership of the Ministry, unfortunately, hadn’t done that. The Prime Minister commissioned the head of the Ministry of Health
together with Medical Service of the Ministry of Defense
to exercise a special control over the provision of medical preparations in
the area of the anti-terrorist operations. He also appealed to the heads of regional state administrations to “go directly
to hospitals, to meet people and to provide a report on what is the real
state of matters, whether people have obtained their medicines". Arseniy Yatsenyuk instructed the Secretariat of the Cabinet of
Ministers of Ukraine to ensure operation of the hotline in order to gather
information, "how the medications are being delivered directly to the
areas, as a result of redistribution and the purchasing of additional
amounts". Next week, he said, the Government in synergy with the Ministry of Health,
State Service of Ukraine on Medical Products and the Ministry of Economy is
to address an issue of prices for drugs and medical purpose goods. |
