Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with speakers of parliaments of EU states

http://www.kmu.gov.ua/img/1x1.gif"Ukraine has started the implementation of the Association Agreement, and this is a key agenda of reforms in Ukraine for the nearest future", said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk at a meeting with speakers of European parliaments on Friday, October 10.

He reminded that Ukraine had ratified the Association Agreement with the EU and FTA, "we expect that the Agreement will be ratified as fast as possible by all parliaments of the member states of the European Union".

The Head of Ukrainian Government noted the importance of supporting Ukraine by the EU to achieve peace and stability. Arseniy Yatsenyuk stressed that the Ukrainian Government hails the visit of the speakers of the European parliaments to Ukraine as a signal of support and solidarity with the Ukrainian nation.

The Prime Minister discussed with the high guests the preparation for the elections of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as well as economic and security situation within the country. Arseniy Yatsenyuk reaffirmed the Government's resoluteness and determination to continue an ambitious reform program with the support by the European Union and international partners.

With a visit to Ukraine arrived speakers of the parliaments of the Republic of Poland Bogdan Borusewicz, the Kingdom of Sweden Urban Ahlin, of Lithuania Loreta Graužinienė, Ireland Sean Barrett and Vice-speaker of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Denmark Bertel Haarder.
