Ostap Semerak: Government denounces agreement with Russia on Kerch Strait

The Government has completed the procedure of termination of the Agreement with the Russian Federation on joint actions on organization of construction of the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait.

"Subject to the provisions of this agreement, we had to send a diplomatic message six months before the date of termination. We did it, and now completely calmly denounced the agreement today," Ostap Semerak stated at a briefing held at the Government House.

The Minister said that the Government had decided to terminate the agreement immediately after its appointment, but due to the need to comply with the relevant procedures, it takes effect only now.
