Ihor Bilous: If MPs support new tax changes, we'll have a new country

"If MPs support and adopt new tax changes, we will have a new country", said Chairman of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Ihor Bilous.

At the session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine held on 6 August 2014, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk presented a comprehensive plan of changes in the tax system.

Some of the taxes, according to the concept of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, are to be reduced and generalized.

Agro-industrial enterprises with annual revenues that exceed UAH 20 million, and with the area of farmland that exceeds 3 thousand hectares are to be transferred to the general taxation system. Other enterprises will remain at the current preferential taxation system”, emphasized Ihor Bilous.

"Our Service, the representatives of public organizations as well as businesses at all levels have developed a common position regarding the tax system which must exist in the country," stressed the Chairman of the State Fiscal Service.
