The experts' work to be frustrated by terrorists again
Today, at about 12.20, the
international group of experts had to stop
their work at the crash site almost for half
an hour due to information from DPR [Donetsk People’s Republic] representatives about
the possibility of active hostilities from
the Ukrainian side.
As a result of operational checks it was reaffirmed that
the Armed Forces of Ukraine
conducted no military action on the territory, where the experts were
working. Ukraine strictly adheres to agreements on
ensuring a ceasefire regime within the 20-km
zone around the crash site and 10 kilometers along experts’ travel way.
From 14.00 to 16.00, DPR representatives
permitted to continue work for a small group of
experts near the settlements of Petropavlivka and Rozsypne. The work of other experts was
blocked.
A small number of personal belongings were found. No human
remains were found. Thus, the search in this area was completed.
At 16.15 the
group of experts went in the
opposite direction and has already returned to
the base in Soledar.
Today, an international team consisted of 97 experts
who traveled on 16 vehicles (45 Dutch, 28
Australian, 12 Malaysian experts).
