MFA: Meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Yonet Can Tezel

First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Natalia Galibarenko met with Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Yönet Can Tezel.

In the course of the meeting an exchange of views on current political situation in Ukraine, in particular the developments in the East of the country took place.

In this regard the Ambassador assured of Turkey’s support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine as well as readiness to facilitate the settlement of the situation in Ukraine.

Topical issues of the Ukrainian-Turkish agenda as well as the prospects of bilateral contacts in the framework of strategic partnership in the near future were discussed. The Sides also considered the joint steps aimed at intensifying trade and economic cooperation.
