Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Natalia Galibarenko
met with Chairman of the Committee on European Affairs of the French National
Assembly Danielle Auroi.
Parliamentarians
were informed about the measures taken for de-escalation of the situation in
the east of Ukraine, in particular about the progress made at the meeting of
Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, France, Germany and Russia in Berlin
on July 2.
They
discussed the issues of European integration of Ukraine, in particular, the
implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European
Union.
They also
exchanged views on the prospects of Ukrainian-French cooperation, including
intensification of inter-parliamentary collaboration.
