Sergii Koretskyi discussed with EIB Vice-President Karl Nehammer how to speed up the implementation of joint projects
Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi discussed with European Investment Bank Vice-President Karl Nehammer how to speed up the implementation of joint projects, including prioritizing them in line with urgent needs.
These are protecting and restoring energy infrastructure, supporting state-owned companies, and rebuilding critical and social infrastructure in Ukrainian communities.
"We also discussed how to make the most effective use of EU guarantees under the Ukraine Investment Framework to finance priority investment projects in 2027," the Head of Government said. "We agreed to set up a joint working group to review the portfolio, identify priority projects and speed up their financing."
Sergii Koretskyi thanked Karl Nehammer "for his personal support for Ukraine and his readiness to work together on practical results."
The EIB is a strategic partner of Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, EIB Group financing for Ukraine has exceeded EUR 4.5 billion, including a record EUR 1.5 billion in 2025.
