Ukraine to receive a grant from Japanese Government for hospitals and research institutions

At the request of the Ukrainian side the Government of Japan has decided to provide grant assistance to hospitals and research institutions in Ukraine, which make a contribution to overcoming the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster.

At its meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a draft resolution, prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade that approves the text of the Grant Agreement (in the form of an exchange of notes), Protocol to the Agreement, and empowers the Minister of Economic Development and Trade to sign it. The Ministry of Health is identified responsible for its implementation.
