Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs expresses gratitude to Ambassador of Japan for firm position on Ukraine

On May 29 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergii Kyslytsya received Ambassador of Japan in Ukraine Toichi Sakata and Deputy Director of the European Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Norio Maruyama.

Norio Maruyama congratulated with presidential elections in Ukraine on May 25 which were conducted in democratic way and confirmed Japan's unwavering support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Sergii Kyslytsya expressed his gratitude to the Japanese side for its firm position on Ukraine, its readiness to provide financial assistance to our state as well as for sending observers for the presidential elections.

The sides also exchanged views on enhancement of Ukraine-Japan cooperation in the framework of international organizations and on the bilateral level.
