Ihor Shvayka reports on cadre policy in agrarian sector

Ihor Shvayka stressed: “Nowadays we are removing corruption clots in agrarian system through taking cadre decisions. There shouldn’t remain an official, chief of a department or enterprise who mix the public interest with their own one. We have constant feedback with the people who directly face corruption practices from the officials. It is a sign for action, so we take relevant decisions immediately”.

The Minister appealed to journalists with a request to inform about the cases of fraud and corruption in order to allow a swifter response.  

Ihor Shvayka informed that there had been replaced heads of central executive authorities, the activity of whom are coordinated by the Minister (State Agricultural Inspection, State Forestry Agency, State Land Agency), personnel changes are underway in local bodies of the mentioned departments, which are undergoing screening. The Minister added a series of public enterprises are also facing audit procedures.

“The one who chairs a department bears full responsibility for work. Our present achievements include promoting positive projects and support of people working on the mentioned projects. The basis for forming the cadre policy is devotion to the work, inner convictions and readiness to jointly promote changes,” Ihor Shvayka added.
