Government not to increase number of officials for posts of Deputy Ministers on European integration

Appointment of Deputy Ministers on European integration occurs within the staff of the ministries, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Ostap Semerak said in a broadcast television show "Country on-line" on "Era".

"In other words, the Government is not going to increase the number of officials," the Minister underlined.

Ostap Semerak noted that the need for introduction of a post of the Deputy Minister for European integration has been motivated by the signing by Ukraine of the Association Agreement. "And in this framework we work with the various European institutions. Therefore, we need fast efficient development. It was a recommendation of the European partners to establish more effective communication between Ukrainian ministries and the European Commission," said the Minister.
