Ukrainian Governmental delegation finishes visit to Brussels where it participated in plenary session jointly with delegation of Board of European Commission

The delegation of the Government of Ukraine has completed the visit to Brussels where it participated in the joint plenary session with delegation of the Board of the European Commission.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk and the President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso signed a State Building Contract Program that envisages allocation to Ukraine EUR 355 million assistance from the European Union participating states.

The Finance Minister Olexandr Shlapak and Vice President of the European Commission, EU Commissioner for Transport, acting EU Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Euro Siim Kallas signed a Memorandum of Understanding and A Loan Agreement on macro-financial assistance worth EUR 1 billion disbursed by the EU to Ukraine.

The visit’s agenda also included a number of bilateral meetings between the members of the Government of Ukraine and profile EU Commissioners: Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Ihor Shvayka met with EU Commissioner for Health and Consumer Policy Tonio Borg, EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Dacian Cioloş: Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Yurii Prodan met with EU Commissioner for Energy Günther Oettinger, Minister of Economic Development and trade Pavlo Sheremeta met with EU Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht, Infraustucture Minister Maxym Burbak with Vice President of the European Commission for Transport, acting EU Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Euro Siim Kallas.  

The delegation of the Government of Ukraine has set off to Kyiv.
