Arseniy Yatsenyuk in Odessa: Our unity is the strongest weapon against terrorists
“Ukraine
must be united only through a dialog, unity and taking into account of a thought
of everyone,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said on Sunday,
May 4, in Odessa in the course of a meeting with leaders of social-political
and cultural-economic spheres of the region.

Arseniy
Yatsenyuk reminded as the Head of the Government he had visited the eastern
Ukraine and communicated “to the legally elected mayors, members of
parliament, irrespectively of parties – no matter it is the ruling party or
the opposition party”: “The process of the national dialog has started. But it
has been dampened by shots of AK100 guns produced in Russia”. He
emphasized that people being sponsored by the Russian special services “have
taken assault rifles in their hands and are shooting innocent citizens,
shooting our military officers, encroaching on the life of our country”: “There
aren’t millions or dozens millions of them. There are hundreds of them. And those
who are killing are talked to in a language of law by the SSU, MIA and our law
enforcement system”. However,
the Prime Minister stressed the most important were our people: “Our people
who were subjected to numerous attempts to split during a very long period – through
the language, history, ideology, territory. And now stirred up all this has
exploded”. The Head
of Government stressed this problem must be solved in a political way: “It is
vital to unite our country only through a dialog, through the unity and
taking into account of a point of view of everyone. Our unity is the best and
the strongest weapon against the terrorists. It is a true answer.” |
