Ostap Semerak: Government liquidates monopoly for production of solar power

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a bill and sent it to the Verkhovna Rada consideration concerning liquidation of monopoly for production of solar power. This was started by the Minister of Cabinet of Ministers.

According to him, advantages were actually granted to one company in the production of solar energy for so-called "green" tariff. "Moreover, large sums of money from the State Budget of Ukraine were sent for the development of private companies. This will not be in the future," Ostap Semerak said. The Minister noted that this decision applies only to monopolists, but not to households.
