O. Semerak: The Cabinet of Ministers is to introduce a number of amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine

On March 19, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine a broad package of draft laws aimed at amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine, in particular the taxation of various kinds of payments, excise taxes, etc. has been considered, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Ostap Semerak said at a briefing following the meeting of the Government.

He said that Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak proposed the package of 14 bills. "We have been discussing them quite a long time and decided to consider and approve the projects at a special Cabinet meeting on Saturday, March 22. However, until Saturday we have to consider and debate on the second stage with industry associations, employers, business. Minister of Economy Pavel Sheremet has been instructed to organize a discussion”, the Minister noted.

"As to this package of bills we have put ourselves the ambitious plans - next session week to submit and pass these bills to the Parliament of Ukraine", he added.
