On the initiative of Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Ihor Shvaika with the assistance of experts and representatives of relevant organizations and agribusiness has been made a thorough analysis of the legislative initiatives in the agricultural sector. Thus, six bills have been already signed and sent for approval to the central authorities in order to accelerate the European integration processes in the field, the Minister said at a press briefing on March 11.

In the Agriculture Ministry a series of meetings on the priorities of legislative work chaired by Minister Ihor Shvaika have been held. More than 20 bills in the agricultural sector have been thoroughly analyzed. "Given the European vector of our country, the probability of signing the political part of the Association Agreement with the EU and the European Union readiness to open unilaterally their markets for Ukrainian goods, we should as soon as possible adopt bills that will enable the agricultural sector to fully operate in the European legal framework, and our products to enter the European market. These legislative initiatives are strategically important for us", Ihor Shvaika emphasized.
