L. Kozhara meets with mission of European Parliament

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara has met with the mission of the European Parliament led by Chairman of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs Elmar Brok.

During the meeting the parties discussed internal political situation in the country and relations between Ukraine and the EU.

Leonid Kozhara informed in details the members of the European Parliament about the situation in Ukraine and the steps made to stabilize it, in particular the results of negotiations between the authorities and the opposition and the conclusions of the extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Moreover, the interlocutors considered the prospects of development of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, notably in the framework of the Association Agreement.
