S. Tymchenko: We work on simplification, acceleration, reduction in prices of land acquisition procedures

The year that lasted was a landmark in the activities of the State Agency of Land Resources of Ukraine concerning improvement of legislation in the sphere of land relations. In particular, there were adopted and entered into force five laws of Ukraine and 12 Cabinet’s resolutions developed by the State Agency of Land Resources. We are successfully working on simplification, acceleration, reduction in prices of procedures concerning registration, alignment and land acquisition. In particular, it should be noted the two already acting laws on improving the procedure for allotment of land that reduce corruption risks in times. The Head of State Land Agency of Ukraine Serhiy Tymchenko said during the press conference held in the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The Chairman of the Agency reported that one another important achievements is the elimination of land commissions, which he called corrupt bodies of collective irresponsibility.

From now you have only to coordinate with only body - the Agency of Land Resources. All other organs are connected as needed.

"Other our legislative initiative is implemented in the concrete legislative act, which established the principle of acquiescence by granting permission for the development of technical documentation by local authorities. Now, if there is no response within a month, the principle of acquiescence follows, and the citizen only need to inform body, he began to develop their own documentation," Serhiy Tymchenko said.
