Through taking by force the Ministry of Agrarian Policy spring field works remain under threat
Holding of
the spring field works have been subjected to a threat. So, just presently the
agrarians would have been preparing relevant material and a technical base for
that. However, through taking by force of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and
Food, coordination of these works has been suspended temporarily. Peculiar concern
was raised by insufficient amount of accumulated protective measures for the
plants, chemical fertilizers and reserve seeds for reinoculation
of winter crops. Director of the department for farming of the Ministry of
Agrarian Policy and Food Olexandr Demydov stated.

“Through
taking by force of the Ministry around 400 specialists remained without workplace
and stable work. And they are families, children, parents – everyone must
understand that,” director of the department stressed. However, the principal
issue that raises concern of both the Ministry and agrarians is holding of the
spring field campaign coordinated by the Ministry. “This
year the agricultural producers have sawn 7.8 million hectares with winter
seeds, including 6.3 million with winter wheat. Presently the state of winter
crops, taking into account evaluation of the science and the regions is
satisfactory and good at 92%. But in connection with the fact that the Ministry
cannot perform their functions fully, there exists certain concern with
regards to carrying out of the spring field campaign,” Olexandr Demydov noted. So, according
to the specialist, there has been worked out a program of providing agriculture
producers with mineral fertilizers through the Agrarian Fund. Two more issues
for concern appear providing with sufficient amount of seeds and plant protection
agents. |
