Gennadiy Temnyk: Government improves verification procedure of use of budgetary funds

The Government has taken steps to legislative opportunities to promptly direct funds of the Reserve Fund of the state budget for liquidation of consequences of disaster. The improvement of verification procedures of use of budgetary funds, funds of public enterprises, institutions and organizations, credits granted under state guarantees will facilitate this. Changes to current resolution that defines the procedure (№ 1210 dated on August 3, 1998) are approved at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on January 9.

As the Minister of the Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services Gennady Temnyk commented, changes mainly relate to operational review of substantiating materials and preparation of expert opinion on the size of the reserve fund of the state budget needed for emergencies. In addition, the verification procedure is specified on compliance with regulations and standards of construction and calculation of powers the Ministry during the inspection.
