Recently, the Government, chaired by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, marked 100 days in office. For the Ministry of Justice team, this period has been one of diligent and responsible work aimed at developing a modern and efficient justice system.

Support for Frontline Areas

One of the Ministry’s priorities remains ensuring citizens’ access to justice services, even in the most challenging wartime conditions.

Residents of Chernihiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions can carry out registration procedures related to property or business in any region of Ukraine, thanks to the principle of extraterritoriality. For internally displaced persons (IDPs) and other designated individuals, a range of services in business registration, real estate, and civil status acts are provided free of charge during martial law.

Creating Favourable Conditions for Business

The Ministry continues to refine tools that facilitate doing business in Ukraine. The Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs, and Public Organisations has been updated to display information on separate subdivisions of foreign companies. This is an important step that simplifies the registration of foreign businesses in Ukraine and brings us closer to European Union standards.

Strengthening the Enforcement Service

The Ministry places particular emphasis on improving the efficiency of the State Enforcement Service. Over the past three months, enforcement agencies have recovered UAH 3.9 billion – UAH 1 billion more than in the same period last year. This is the result of consistent efforts to ensure the actual enforcement of court decisions and protect citizens’ rights.

Digitalisation of the Justice System

Digitalisation of legal services is no less important. Digital Civil Registration Offices have been opened in Lviv and Dnipro, where citizens can access services quickly, conveniently, and without paper bureaucracy. More than 270 marriage ceremonies are conducted online daily. The next step is the launch of an online divorce service.

In addition, testing of the e-Notariat – a digital system ensuring transparency, security, and data protection during notarial actions – has begun. Over 2,000 notaries across Ukraine have already joined the pilot project.

100 days is just the beginning. The Ministry of Justice continues to systematically transform the justice system, making it open, efficient, and focused on citizens’ needs. For a state is strong when the rule of law prevails and justice becomes part of everyday life.
