Fellow compatriots!
The Chernobyl tragedy is one of the worst disasters bechanced by the Ukrainian people. Ukraine still suffers from its devastating aftereffect these days.
Elimination of the consequences of the accident required the concentration of superhuman efforts. Liquidators of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster demonstrated outstanding courage and heroism, trying to mitigate the devastating consequences of this man-made disaster at the cost of their health and life. Their feat will always remain in our memory.
We must exert every effort to prevent the repetition of such a tragedy, and to minimize the impact of its consequences on the environment.
