Made in Ukraine: Since the start of 2026, the state has supported UAH 6.25 billion in non-commodity exports


Between January and April 2026, the Export Credit Agency of Ukraine supported export contracts by Ukrainian manufacturers with a total value of UAH 6.25 billion. Support for non-commodity exports through the ECA’s products forms part of the Made in Ukraine policy to develop domestic producers.

During this period, 26 agreements were supported for 23 exporters. The value of bank loans issued by banks to support the export contracts and insured by the ECA totalled UAH 15 million.

The largest volume of supported exports came from enterprises in Khmelnytskyi region – UAH 4.61 billion. Other leading regions were Lviv region with UAH 500 million and Chernihiv region with UAH 420 million.

The main importing countries for Ukrainian products insured by the ECA were:

  • Germany – UAH 1.2 billion
  • Poland – UAH 678.5 million
  • Hungary – UAH 677.7 million

In terms of sectoral structure, the largest shares were in the production of:

  • furniture – UAH 4.6 billion
  • metal doors and windows – UAH 281.83 million
  • wire products, chains and springs – UAH 142.72 million
  • wallpaper – UAH 137.59 million
  • corrugated paper, cardboard and paper packaging – UAH 130.84 million

Background

The activities of the Export Credit Agency of Ukraine are one of the elements of the Made in Ukraine policy to develop domestic manufacturers.
