Within the framework of the joint project of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, Ukrposhta and international organisations, cash support has been provided to residents of the de-occupied territories for a total amount of almost UAH 146 million. The project started on 19 September 2022, and payments in the liberated territories continue. 

Thus, as of January 5, 2023, almost 73,000 citizens in the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv, Kherson, Donetsk and Luhansk regions received cash assistance in the amount of UAH 1,200 from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.

In addition, with the financial support of the International Organization for Migration, as of yesterday, cash assistance in the amount of UAH 2,200 was paid to more than 25,000 people living in the liberated territories of Kharkiv, Kherson and Donetsk regions.

In 2023, international donors plan to continue providing cash support to reach as many citizens who survived the occupation and remain in the de-occupied territories as possible.
