On September 13, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan was served a notice of suspicion. The Minister implements the Government's policy on infrastructure development. Throughout his tenure as Minister, no fact of violation of law during the investigation that has been conducted against him for more than a year has been established.

The Government claims that all are equal before the law. We expect the investigation to be objective and not politically motivated. We hope that the actions of law enforcement officers will not affect the work of the Ministry of Infrastructure and will not prevent the Minister from performing the functions.
