Entrepreneurs who have received Government grants for the development of horticulture, berry growing and greenhouse farming will hire about a thousand permanent employees and are also obliged to create more than ten thousand new seasonal jobs for the development of rural areas.

This was announced by Taras Vysotskyi, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, during the Yedyni Novyny (United News - ed.) telethon.

The official also noted that the system for obtaining a grant is simple and transparent - through the Diia portal. Applications from entrepreneurs are reviewed within a short time frame.

"The application for a grant is checked by the bank and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. If the application meets all the criteria, the entrepreneur will receive a response within two to three weeks. What is important is that the farmer can resubmit a revised application if certain shortcomings in the business plan are identified after the first review," said Taras Vysotskyi.
