On September 19, 2018, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya met with a delegation of Estonian MPs headed by Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Riigikogu (Parliament of Estonia) Marko Mihkelson.
Sergiy Kyslytsya thanked the Estonian side for solid political support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state, and most importantly for the significant practical assistance and realization of a number of humanitarian projects for Ukrainian citizens.
Marko Mihkelson informed about the visit of the Estonian delegation to territories adjacent to the line of demarcation in eastern Ukraine, and stressed that he was able to see first-hand the facts of ongoing Russian aggression.
The parties highly appreciated the level of cooperation between Ukraine and Estonia within the framework of international organizations, including the UN, the Council of Europe and the OSCE, as well as their inter-parliamentary structures.
A separate emphasis was placed on the priority tasks of cooperation within the framework of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
