Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk had a meeting with President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö.

The discussion was focused on the investment climate in Ukraine, as well as the exchange of experience between Ukraine and Finland on reforms, in particular in the education sector.

“Ukraine is facing a number of major challenges at once, in particular to improve the investment climate. We have updated public-private partnership tools as we are interested in leveraging investment in critical infrastructure projects. We invite businesses of Finland to participate”, Oleksiy Honcharuk emphasized.

Among the topics were also the importance of development of international transport routes, in particular river and port logistics and infrastructure.

“Our young Government is working to achieve long term goals with a favorable business climate, quality infrastructure, energy efficiency and education being the topmost priorities. We are striving to create a future in which our citizens are happy”, Oleksiy Honcharuk emphasized.
