Zaporizhzhia to receive UAH 93.6 million from the reserve fund of the state budget

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a decision to allocate UAH 93.6 million from the reserve fund of the state budget to the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration. The funds will be directed towards sustainably providing heat and water supply services to the population of the city of Zaporizhzhia, as well as implementing measures related to preventing the occurrence of technogenic emergencies.

In particular, the allocated funds will enable construction and installation works to install and connect eight cogeneration units at heat supply facilities in the city of Zaporizhzhia and at the Communal Non-Profit Enterprise “Zaporizhzhia Regional Clinical Children’s Hospital” of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council.

“Ensuring stable heat and water supply for Zaporizhzhia’s residents is a matter of energy security, life support and regional resilience. We support decisions that minimise the risks of technogenic emergencies and create safe living conditions for people,” noted Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine Vitaliy Kindrativ.

The implementation of the project will contribute to strengthening the region’s energy infrastructure, enhance the efficiency of heat supply systems and ensure uninterrupted provision of services to the population, particularly in critical social facilities.
