Over the last week, 440 entrepreneurs received loans under the Government’s Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% programme for a total of UAH 2.3 billion. Since the beginning of 2023, banks have granted 10,300 loans worth UAH 38 billion to businesses. Since the launch of the programme in February 2020, 63,400 loans worth UAH 205 billion have been disbursed.
Most of the loans were for anti-crisis purposes (UAH 61 billion) and for anti-war purposes (UAH 54.3 billion). UAH 28.6 billion was disbursed to refinance previously obtained loans, UAH 13.7 billion for investment purposes, and UAH 11.1 billion to replenish working capital. In addition, agricultural enterprises received UAH 32 billion in loans to support their operations, while trading companies obtained UAH 2.5 billion to replenish working capital.
The main borrowers under the programme are enterprises operating in the following sectors:
Among the regions, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Vinnytsia regions, and the city of Kyiv lead in terms of the volume of loan agreements signed.
To date, 45 banks are participating in the programme, with Privatbank (27,800), Oschadbank (9,700) and Raiffeisen Bank Aval (5,300) lending the most.
