Last week, banks participating in the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% program signed 764 agreements worth UAH 1.9 billion. In particular, UAH 1.3 billion of the total amount of agreements concluded in the last week are anti-crisis loans to replenish working capital at 0%. UAH 355 million make up agreements on the refinancing of previously issued loans by authorized banks, and the amount of investment loans amounted to UAH 237 million.
“March was a record month for the program. Almost every week we saw the dynamics growing: the amount of UAH 1.5 billion a week has become traditional, and in the last week of the month it has grown to almost UAH 2 billion. A total of 2,216 loans worth UAH 6.3 billion were issued in March. Such results are evidence that despite certain quarantine restrictions, the business has already adapted to the new conditions and is ready for recovery and development,” commented the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine Ihor Petrashko.
Thus, since the start of the program, participating banks have issued 11,706 loans totaling almost UAH 28.9 billion. Of these, UAH 13.9 billion was refinancing of previously received loans, UAH 5.1 billion was received by entrepreneurs for capital investments and UAH 9.9 billion as anti-crisis loans to replenish working capital at 0%.
The most active participants in the program are representatives of agriculture (53%), trade and production (20%) and industrial processing (15%). According to the regional classification, the leaders are Lviv, Kharkiv, and Kyiv regions.
