From April 1, 2019, under a Government decision to improve the material status of large families, to create appropriate conditions for the upbringing of children raised in such families, there has been introduced a new kind of social benefits - assistance for children who are raised in multi-child families.

Financial assistance for children raised in large families will be assigned to the third and each subsequent child from the month in which the parents file an application with all the necessary documents in the monthly amount of UAH 1,700 and will be paid monthly by the month when a child has his 6-th birthday.

It should be noted that for citizens who will apply during the period from April to June 2019, the provision of assistance to children who are raised in multi-child families, the aforesaid assistance will be scheduled from April 1, 2019.
