Ministry of Economy: Since early 2025, ECA has supported over UAH 5.3 billion in exports by Ukrainian companies
From January to April 2025, the Export Credit Agency (ECA) insured export transactions of Ukrainian companies, securing UAH 5.35 billion in future export revenue. For the same period last year, this figure was UAH 1.7 billion.
“In the first four months of 2025, the ECA insured exports for 33 Ukrainian companies, supporting over UAH 5.3 billion in exports – three times more than in the same period last year. This growth shows that businesses see the effectiveness of this protective tool. Insuring export contracts has enabled manufacturers to reduce non-payment risks and access bank financing, helping companies scale production and enter new markets,” said Andrii Teliupa, Deputy Minister of Economy.
The most active regions in export insurance were Lviv region (UAH 1.37 billion), Khmelnytskyi region (UAH 1.31 billion), and Volyn region (UAH 1.12 billion).
Ukrainian enterprises exported furniture, food products, timber, wood products, and processed fruit and vegetable products to Poland, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
The ECA’s largest banking partners during this period were:
- Kreditwest Bank – UAH 109 million in issued loans.
- Oschadbank – UAH 92.5 million.
- Ukrgasbank – UAH 90 million.
