From October 1, the Government to increase compensation under the Prykhystok program
On September 6, the Government has concluded an updated Memorandum with the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. This agreement was made possible with the assistance of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporary Ocuupied Territories of Ukraine. It will allow to increase funding for compensation to people who provided temporary housing to internally displaced persons within the framework of the Prykhystok [Shelter –ed.] program.
It’s worth mentioning that the specified program envisages the provision of compensation for housing and communal services to those who sheltered internally displaced persons from TOT or war zones free of charge.
It is assumed that starting from October 1, the owners of housing who placed IDPs will receive UAH 900 instead of UAH 450 for each such person per month.
